ACCRC Anti-Discrimination & Anti-Harassment Policy
A:shiwi College & Career Readiness Center (ACCRC) is a special and safe space of learning for all people. As such, our educational institution and any convenings we host are intended to allow productive and thoughtful exchanges of ideas and respectful interactions among participants. Any type of discrimination or perceived harassment undermine our purposes. The ACCRC prohibits such behavior and expect all who use our facilities to sponsor trainings, conferences, or meetings along with the participants and attendees to adhere to the following:
We support mutual growth through thoughtful, respectful exchange of ideas.
We honor all who use our facilities and encourage respectful and positive interactions.
We expect that all staff, students, visitors, community members, conference and workshop attendees, presenters, volunteers or tribal employees will support our policies.
What is covered:
Discrimination and harassment based on an individual’s sex, race, ethnicity, national origin, tribal affiliation, age, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, disability, veteran status, citizenship, or any other legally protected status will not be tolerated.
If you believe that (a) you are being or have been discriminated against and/or harassed, or (b) you have observed or reliably learned that someone else is being discriminated against and/or harassed, or (c) you have other concerns, it is essential that you inform us that a violation has occurred. We cannot mitigate or resolve any violation unless we become informed. If a crime has occurred, report this immediately to the Executive Director so we may inform the tribal law enforcement.
